In new beta update released this Thursday, WhatsApp has now started receiving support for using multiple accounts on Android smartphones.

The news was discovered by the WABetaInfo people in version 2.23.13.5, and everything works in a very simple way: just enter the settings page to access the account selector.

So, after logging into their main account, the user can simply add a second profile to be able to manage. In other words, something very useful for anyone who works in social media or simply has a WhatsApp account just for work.

This account separation still allows you to maintain privacy with individual encryption and brings efficient notification management so that each account uses a custom alert sound, for example.

Another important highlight of the feature includes the release to all users of the beta public and not just those using the Business version of WhatsApp.

However, the tool still has some synchronization issues as it is still under development. With that, it should be noted that, like other important features, the use of multiple accounts can take time to reach the public of the stable application.
