The game Far Cry 5 is celebrating his birthday 5 years and with that, news is coming that can please the owners of PlayStation 5 It is Xbox Series S/X. According to the publication made on the official profile for the title on Twitter, a novelty much requested by fans of new generation consoles should finally become available.

Even so, no details were revealed about what should arrive with the update of the work. Production was launched by Ubisoft in 2018 and one of the most prominent novelties was the availability of the game for free in 2021 for all platforms.
As it was originally released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One generation, speculation states that the game should receive an enhanced version for current generation devices. In that sense, it could be an edition with graphical and gameplay improvements with support for 60 FPS.
At the time of release, Far Cry 5 received critical acclaim. On Metacritic, it received a score of 81 from critics and 7.0 from users. Some reviews placed the game as one of the best in the franchise, although other opinions did not go to the same intensity.
Meanwhile, there is no confirmation regarding the next title in the series, Far Cry 7. But, some recent rumors have talked about the possibility of the new game being released by Ubisoft 2025, as well as a multiplayer game in this franchise. As for the fifth game’s anniversary, the update should arrive within the next three weeks.
