Tidal launches in-app profiles allowing you to share playlists with the community

Seeking to reduce differences with rival platforms such as Spotify and Deezer, Tidal this week launched a new update to the app introducing user profiles making it easier to share playlists with the subscriber community, a long-awaited novelty that is present in the main competitors.

According to the developer, from the update it is possible to make playlists public and share them with friends through a redirect link replacing the “My library” space — the company reinforces that the history that content saved in the section will remain unchanged, stimulating the creation of profiles in streaming.

As determined by the writing of the AllCellular, the new profiles function on Tidal is available to Europeian users and you can choose the name that will be displayed publicly when sharing your collections with others. Apparently, the novelty has not yet arrived in the application for Windows, but the developer guarantees multiplatform support.

In Europe, it is possible to subscribe to Tidal at a fixed price of R$16.90 per month in the individual plan, while the HiFi Plus option (better audio quality and more functions) costs R$33.90/month, both without ads between tracks. It is also possible to join the free modality, but in this case with advertising and restrictions — only in the USA.
