Redmi surprisingly announces another member of the Note 12 family. Redmi Note 12R Pro it will be official shortly, indeed very soon: debut on the market set for Saturday 29 April when it will be 10 in China. Therefore, there should not be a real presentation event, the choice to present a novelty on Saturday would have been unusual: Redmi seems to have decided to go straight to the soto open sales.
The company born from Xiaomi accompanied the announcement with some specifications and with a picture of the smartphone in the three colors available, from which the resemblance to Redmi Note 12 and respective Pro variant at least as regards the rear surface, where the Note 12R Pro camera group follows the shape of the product already on sale also in Italy. Again there will only be a sort of collar obtained with a different surface finish on the right of the cameras, with the Redmi and 5G logos.
THE TECHNICAL STARTER
On a technical level, the company has anticipated that Redmi Note 12R Pro will have:
- SoC: Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1
- display: 120Hz OLED, with SGS low blue light certification for low levels of blue light
- memories: 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, we don’t know if it will be the only configuration or there will be others.

For everything else, appointment at Saturdaywhen Redmi Note 12R Pro will be official in China. Then it will be time to find out if it will also be distributed in Europe.
