Microsoft has announced that it will remove several games and their DLC from the Xbox 360 digital store next week.

The exact number varies by region. For example, in the United States, 46 games will be removed, while in the United Kingdom the number drops to 44. In Europe, there will be 31 titles.

Games that will be removed include franchise hits such as Assassin’s Creed, Call of Duty, Dark Souls, Far Cry, Mass Effect, Splinter Cell and Star Wars.

Titles will be deleted from the digital store on February 7, 2023, but Microsoft stresses that once purchased, players will be able to download whenever they want. Basically, the removed titles will just no longer be able to be purchased digitally.
