G.Skill announced this Friday (31) its new high-speed memory kits from the Trident Z5 line. Focused on gamers and content creators who need the best capabilities, the products combine two sticks of DDR5 RAM with 24 GB or 48 GB that can reach incredible speeds of up to 8,200 MT/s.

For those looking for one of the fastest memory on the market, G.Skill offers a kit with two 24 GB Trident Z5 drives (48 GB total) with DDR5-8200 speed and latency rated at CL 40-52-52. The set can operate at lower frequencies, which reduces latency to values of CL 40-48-48 or CL 36-46-46. Look:

Due to the greater volatile storage capacities, the kit with two 48 GB DDR5 RAM memories (total of 96 GB) works at frequencies lower than 6,800 MT/s with latency CL 34-46-46 or 6,400 MT/s with CL 32- 39-39. 48GB kit is also available in this data transfer configuration.

These performance metrics were demonstrated in a manufacturer test using an ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero motherboard equipped with an Intel Core i9-13900K processor, so it is worth noting that hardware performance may vary according to the use case and the type of hardware you work with.

G.Skill points out that the new kits have Overclocking support via Intel XMP 3.0. With this, motherboards that have this technology will be able to offer even more performance to increase the transfer rate per second of the Trident Z5 modules. Apparently, the memories do not support AMD EXPO.

The company has not yet confirmed the price and launch date of the new kits.
