Apple would now be close to launching a new version of the earphones Beats Studio Buds. Compared to the model launched in 2021, the new Beats Studio Buds+ they should look similar in appearance but will likely include some improvements to both active noise cancellation and transparency mode.
To corroborate the hypothesis of an imminent launch, in addition to clues in the iOS 16.4 code, the certification of these earphones was recently found in the FCC database, identified by the initials A2872 and A2871, one of the last steps that are usually requested on a consumer electronics product before it can get to market.
Beats Studio Buds +, according to rumors, will always have a custom Beats chip, capable of guaranteeing high-quality sound and more reliable Bluetooth connection (Class 1). The earphones integrate a proprietary 8.2 mm double diaphragm driver and support spatial audio.
The other technical characteristics would also remain unchanged, including the IPX4 certified sweat and water resistancethe 24 hours of maximum listening combined (8 hours of listening plus two additional charges supplied by the case equipped with a USB-C port), and thequick pairing with iOS and Androidvia Fast Pair.
The Studio Buds also support the Find My feature on iOS and Find My Device on Android, using the last known location (when paired via Bluetooth), and can be played if they are nearby.
At the moment, there is no information regarding the possible launch of this new version. Furthermore, as regards the selling price, it is likely to be slightly higher than the current Beats Studio Buds which have a price of around 189 euros.
