THE apple shared this Thursday (12) a fully filmed short film with a iPhone 14 Pro. The production was made in celebration of the Chinese New Year, is 17 minutes long and draws attention to the quality of the images.

On the Chinese social network Weibo, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that the content carries a message that “reminds us of everything it takes to overcome life’s obstacles”. Chinese New Year will take place on January 22nd and will celebrate the Year of the Rabbit.

“I hope you enjoy this touching story that illuminates humanity, shows the power of pursuing a passion and reminds us what it takes to overcome life’s obstacles. Happy Chinese New Year! Enjoy!”, said Tim Cook in the publication .

Called “Through the Five Passes”, the production chronicles the journey of “a young man, his love of opera and his persistence”. The video was directed by Chinese filmmaker Peng Fei and tries to reinvent the renowned opera that lends its name to the video.

A Maçã also shared a making of the production to prove that the short film was entirely filmed with a smartphone. It is possible to observe in more detail how the iPhone 14 Pro was used to record the special video.

The company usually prepares this type of production to demonstrate the recording power of its more expensive devices and also usually promotes special commercial actions to celebrate the arrival of the Chinese New Year.

Also taking advantage of the date, Apple launched a limited edition for the second generation AirPods Pro adorned with an engraving of the animal symbol of the upcoming Chinese calendar.
