One of the new things we expect to see on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is the removal of the notch that has been around since the iPhone X.

Instead, everything points to Apple will opt for a couple of cutouts on the screen which will house the front camera and the Face ID facial recognition system. We have already been able to see some renders of how the phone could look.

Now, an allegedly leaked advertising video of Apple Pay shows what could be the iPhone 14 Pro (or Pro Max) making a payment.

The phone image confirms that the phone will have these cutouts on the top.

At first glance, the video looks very well produced, and even the choice of music is very much in line with Apple. This has led some media to believe that this is a genuine leak. Nevertheless, we can affirm that this video is not authentic.

We are not only saying it because it would be the first time that an Apple video has been leaked before its official announcement, which in itself is something quite strange.

The definitive proof is in this other video about Apple Pay that is exactly the same except for the frames in which the current iPhone appears, which have been replaced by those of the iPhone 14 Pro.

This explains why the video is so well produced, since, for the most part, it is the original video from Apple’s announcement. Only the images where the iPhone is seen have been changed.

It wouldn’t make sense for Apple to make a new Apple Pay video that was exactly the same as an existing one. To be sure, if Apple decides to advertise Apple Pay with the next iPhone, it will create a new one.
