Confirmation comes directly from Sally Hyesoon JeongVP of Android Framework R&D of Samsung Electronics, who during an interview given to Sammobile (link in SOURCE) stated that the company plans to complete the rollout of One UI 5.0 well ahead of schedule. In other words, according to the (new) plans the upgrade should even be completed by the end of 2022. For all models and in all countries where smartphones are commercially available.
A plan indeed ambitious which Samsung will try to abide by in order to give the market a mark on its ability to refresh the entire lineup of devices. – therefore not only the flagships – to the new version of the Google operating system in a very short time – especially compared to what the competition is able to do.
