Now, the next generation is just around the corner: Wi-Fi 7, a promise of breakneck speeds and improved efficiency. The Wi-Fi 7 standard, also known as IEEE 802.11be, brings notable advances that build on its predecessor, promising a great leap forward in wireless networking technology.

However, it is worth keeping in mind that the availability of Wi-Fi 7 devices does not necessarily mean that consumers will start benefiting immediately. The infrastructure of Wi-Fi 7 compatible routers is still limited, and it will take time to upgrade to take full advantage of the new technology.
