It would be an additional subscription, which would allow companies, by paying a certain amount per month, to access additional features, such as improving the customer service system. These features are already available in the beta version of the app for Android and iOS, which has made it possible to find out what this paid version of WhatsApp will be like and what, at least initially, it will offer.
The possibility of joining WhatsApp Premium is not available for all companies, only some company accounts will see a new section called “WhatsApp Premium” when they access their account settings. When the company joins WhatsApp Premium -prior to the payment of a certain monthly amount whose amount is currently unknown and which could vary from country to country- it will have access, for the time being, to two new functions:
-Customizable company link. It is a unique link that will allow customers to see a landing page and easily start a conversation with the company on WhatsApp. It will be a link of the type https://wa.me/companyname, which can be changed every three months if desired. If the paid subscription is canceled before that time, the link will be unusable.
By being able to customize the company link in WhatsApp with the company name, customers will have an easier time remembering the signature address in WhatsApp.
-Multi-device enhancements. Companies that join the WhatsApp premium plan will be able to open the account on up to 10 devices at the same time, which will make it easier to manage conversations with users when it comes to large companies and there are several customer service agents. client.
It should be remembered that, at the moment, all the functions of WhatsApp for companies are free. Those allowed by WhatsApp Premium will be optional and each company will freely decide whether to join the program or not, once it is officially launched. It is unknown when this will take place, as WhatsApp has not offered an official date for the launch.
