Samsung has scheduled for next Wednesday (1st) the Galaxy Unpacked event, which will take place in San Francisco, California, marking the arrival of the Galaxy S23 line and, apparently, the latest generation interface OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13 – remembering that Android 14 has not yet been released – which should run on future South Korean flagships.

According to information, this version of the system should bring important news to users, aiming to improve the user experience with new functions, security and privacy of the device. As with other releases, this interface is expected to arrive with flagships and later start to arrive on lower devices.

The company has not committed to publicly disclosing the update schedule that will be adopted when the modified interface becomes available, so it remains to wait for more details. Despite the scarcity of information, rumors leaked this week try to anticipate part of the features that should be implemented with the update for this software version.

As disclosed by the WinFuture portal, the new OneUI should have news related to different sections of the smartphone, including customization with more widgets, improved post-processing of photographs with the native camera, improvements in the multitasking of the DeX Mode and more.

Samsung has not confirmed this leak, so we should be suspicious of this information as part of the features may not arrive with OneUI 5.1 validating it to be mere speculation.
