Samsung hasn’t launched an FE version of its flagship smartphone from last year, but with the S23 family, things should be back to normal; it is not yet 100% sure – there are actually conflicting reports and Samsung has not expressed itself on the matter – but by now most leakers believe that yes, there will be an S23 FE. In fact, in the last few hours some rumors have emerged that confirm an upgrade of the main camera, at least in relation to its predecessor, or the S21 FE released at the beginning of last year.
According to the sources of the guys from GalaxyClubthe smartphone will in fact adopt a 50 MP camera, which may be the same seen on Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23. Of course, it is not said that the complete photographic setup will be the same as the flagships, but it is still a step forward compared to the 12 MP of the S21 FE. We don’t even have information about the front camera; The S21 FE has a 32MP one, while the S22 and S23 have 10 and 12MP respectively.
The source says smartphones are still a long way off, however: we will talk about it towards the end of the year, well after the launch of Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold 5. Moreover, it is in line with the historical release times of the “FE” range, more or less a year after the main models of the same series.
