The Pixel Tablet, to be presented by Google at the I/O 2023 event, is aimed at people looking for a device for productivity and streaming consumption. Apparently, the notebook will come equipped with the Tensor G2 platform and 8 GB of RAM, in addition to support for wireless charging.

Although the tablet has not even been made official, its induction charging base “Standalone Charging Dock” was listed on Amazon in the United States costing US$ 129, about R$ 650 at the current exchange rate. The product description states that: “The unique Charging Speaker Dock keeps your tablet charged and ready 24 hours a day and is easy to dock and undock.”

An ad image reveals the design and construction of the charging station, indicating a sober format with magnet attachment and four front LEDs possibly to indicate the device’s charge status.

According to the e-commerce store posting, the accessory will launch on May 10 — coincidentally, the date the I/O 2023 conference is set to take place — with availability in four (as yet unknown) colors.

Big tech should also take advantage of the event to present other devices, including the Pixel 7a, the new generation Pixel 8 and the Android 14 operating system, still in development.
