Pixel 7 Pro faces iPhone 14 Pro Max in speed test for opening apps

The Pixel 7 Pro took on the iPhone 14 Pro Max in a speed test that simulates real-life usage. As a result, the smartphone of Google ended up being left behind during the evaluation made by the channel PhoneBuff on Youtube. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 also entered the competition and it is worth remembering that it has already beaten the Apple model before.

Generally speaking, the production is done with a robot and basically two sessions are done. In the first, several applications are opened to measure the speed of cell phones in this regard. Now the apps are opened again after being in the background to see if the devices are able to keep them running.

The test that involved the models of the Samsung and Apple had the South Korean model as the winner due to the amount of RAM memory it has, since it kept the programs open longer. However, this did not help Google’s model to stand out, ranking last in the evaluation.

Despite the release being a little more recent, the model with Google Tensor G2 couldn’t match the A16 Bionic. Thus, the Pixel 7 Pro closed the test with a time of 3 minutes and 10 seconds, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max had a large advantage, with 2 minutes and 45 seconds.

Another point worth noting is that the apple device reversed the result of the previous comparison with the Z Fold 4. This may be thanks to version 16.1 of iOSwhich brought optimizations and even more battery life to the manufacturer’s devices.
