After several rumors and leaks, the OPPO A58 was finally announced in China. In specifications, it brings similar configurations to other devices from the Chinese company focused on cost-effectiveness.

Among the highlights is a MediaTek processor, robust battery, 5G connectivity and a competitive price.

The OPPO A58 features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution (1612 x 720 pixels), 90 Hz refresh rate, 600 nits maximum peak brightness and 269 PPI, in addition to bringing a teardrop notch for house the 8 megapixel front sensor.

At the rear, there is a dual camera module with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Under the hood, the OPPO A58 is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. There is space for a microSD card and support for 5GB virtual RAM. For power, there’s a 5,000mAh battery pack with support for 33W fast charging.

On the operating system, it comes standard with Android 12 under ColorOS 12.1 interface. In connectivity, there’s 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS and a USB Type-C port. There is also a headphone jack, a digital reader on the side and stereo speakers.

The OPPO A58 was only announced in China in a memory configuration with 8GB + 256GB. he leaves at ¥1,699 (~R$1,200) and has black, blue and purple color options.
