Leading innovator in the field of artificial intelligence, OpenAI, has announced the release of a version of ChatGPT specifically targeted at the needs of large enterprises.

According to Reuters, the news is that ChatGPT Enterprise provides enhanced security and privacy, as well as faster access to OpenAI technology. Block, Carlyle and Estee Lauder Companies became the first clients of this version.

The agency recalls that in November last year, OpenAI introduced a version of ChatGPT for ordinary users, which led to the widespread use of generative artificial intelligence in various fields, from writing texts to creating codes. This brought the number of active users to 100 million in January.

With the advent of ChatGPT Enterprise, OpenAI aims to bring this technology to life in a production environment.

Microsoft also provides access to ChatGPT through its Azure OpenAI platform, but companies must be Microsoft Azure cloud computing customers to do so. In the case of ChatGPT Enterprise, an Azure subscription is not required.

According to the representative of OpenAI, the question of competition with Microsoft is left to the discretion of customers, who can choose the most suitable platform for their business.
