Update (10/04/2022) – MR

In July, the vivo sub-brand launched the iQOO 10 and iQOO 10 Pro in China. Soon after, the iQOO 9T 5G was launched in India with the Snapdragon 8 plus Gen 1.

The manufacturer is preparing to launch the iQOO 11 line, which should reach more countries besides China.

The iQOO 11 line is expected to come with an unannounced flagship platform from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Previously, rumors have suggested that the device will launch later this year.

Insider Paras Guglani (Passionate Geekz) has revealed first-hand that the iQOO 11 range will not only launch in China, but also in India.

The series will consist of two models: the iQOO 11 and its Pro variant. The title of both phones was confirmed by their firmware data, as can be seen in the image below.

The iQOO I2209 will be the Indian model of the iQOO 11 and the iQOO I2212 is associated with the Indian model of the iQOO 11 Pro, while the IQOO V2243A and V2254A are the Chinese version.

Other rumors suggest that the iQOO 11 Pro will be the first flagship of the brand to have a 144 Hz refresh rate. Like the iQOO 10 Pro, its successor should bring 200W fast charging, while the standard model should have 120W.

The iQOO 11 line should bring a main camera with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX8 sensor and use the V2 ISP chip in the Pro variant.

Update (29/09/22) – JB

Despite the still distant launch, the market keeps an eye on the future iQOO 11 Pro, as the smartphone could introduce some important refinements in the Chinese brand’s catalog.

An example of this is that the well-known and trusted Digital Chat Station confirmed the presence of 144 Hz refresh rate on the device.

According to the leaker, this novelty comes to the iQOO line to match the Samsung E6 AMOLED display, something that has been previously commented on by other leakers.

Another highlight of the iQOO 11 Pro that deserves to be mentioned is the use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which can work together with up to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

Qualcomm’s new chipset is expected to be announced during the month of November in Hawaii.

Finally, the iQOO 11 Pro is likely to have 200W fast charging technology to keep it looking like the most powerful smartphone in its class.

However, as the manufacturer does not confirm the veracity of the leaks, we emphasize that everything needs to be considered as just another market rumor.
