Although the official launch is still a little way off, the Google Pixel 7a has already been disassembled by a channel specializing in smartphone repair.

According to the folks at PBKreviews, the rear panel of the Pixel 7a is made of plastic and, as soon as the user opens the device, they should be faced with the wireless charging coil and NFC antenna.

To gain access to the smartphone’s battery, you need to remove the connectors from the camera array. Only then is it possible to reach the 4,385 mAh module.

To prevent overheating, Google has applied a graphite film to the material to help conduct the heat away from the smartphone.

After removing the battery, the user will be able to reach the motherboard and all its connections, while on the front there is a fingerprint sensor in the lower half.

Overall, PBKreviews found the Pixel 7a disassembly process to be easy. Therefore, the device received the score of 7.5 on a scale up to 10.

For channel analysts, Google has a design that facilitates the removal of individual parts and construction also helps in replacing possible defective components.

It is worth remembering that the smartphone should hit the market on the 11th with a 6.1-inch OLED screen that has a rate of 90 Hz, Google Tensor G2 processor, 64 MP main camera and Android 13.
