Some updates are for the best, others don’t always seem to have been tested correctly by the manufacturers. So Android QPR3 Beta 3 is part of that second team. This is because several users are reporting crashes on their Pixel phones after installing the package, released last week.

In some cases, after the update, the cell phone was stuck in specific apps, and would not leave the place —it couldn’t even be turned off, and you had to wait for it to malfunction on its own., getting the black screen, to be restarted. This particular case was experienced on a Pixel 6 Pro. The user, according to Phone Arena, also noticed problems in the interface, which also stopped responding frequently.

“I had twice yesterday, a full freeze. I made a bug report on it. Beside that lagging UI. The reset didn’t help. After a shutdown, it didn’t happen again. But it’s been 3 hours,” he reported a user on Reddit.

While you run the risk of installing unstable software when joining a Beta program, QPR Betas should be less of an issue than Android System Betas. Still, Reddit user Ill-Willow2116 is having to deal with QPR3 Beta 3 issues several times a day. “The whole phone freezes and I can’t even close it. It also won’t let me send a feedback report. It’s a constant problem, happening at least five times a day.” The problem appears to be such an oversight that not even Google wants to hear about it.
