Apple has presented its new 15-inch MacBook Air at WWDC 2023, which is called the best 15-inch laptop. In this sense, the American apple also promises that it is a device 12 times faster than the MacBook Air based on Intel processors, so today we have a must-see date to meet you.

Apple swears that this is the thinnest 15-inch laptop on the planet, as well as an extremely light product (1.5 kilograms). This new version of the MacBook Air comes in 4 colors (star white, silver and gray), and in all of them it outlines an impressive p15.3-inch screen with virtually non-existent bezels only 5mm.
With that in mind, the screen makes use of a Liquid Retina panel with FullHD resolution, 500 nits brightness and amazing color reproduction of one billion colors. Sound has also been a priority for Apple during its design, as they provided this equipment with a not inconsiderable 6-speaker system with Dolby Atmos audio.
What makes it truly special is the M2 chip that beats inside. It consists of a 8 core CPU along with a 10-core GPU and, according to Apple, provides 12 times the performance of previous generations with high-end Intel processors. Accompanying that chip we will find up to 24GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage (base configuration includes 8GB of RAM).
We don’t have an exact figure for the battery’s milliamps, but we do know that Apple proposes a autonomy of up to 18 hours. As if that were not enough, the American company promises twice the performance, twice the brightness and 50% longer life than other 15-inch laptops with Windows, although they obviously did not specify a rival model or brand so as not to offend sensitivities. We cannot forget to mention the FaceTime camera with 1080p resolution.
Lastly, the 15-inch MacBook Air has a MagSafe port, two Thunderbolt/USB 4, 3.5mm Jack, and Wi-Fi 6 plus Bluetooth 5.2 on the wireless front.
Availability and price
The new 15-inch MacBook Air will go on sale next week in the United States for $1,299, but When it arrives in Spain the price will start at 1,599 euros.
