New cheap mobile from ZTE

ZTE is aimed at those looking for a normal mobile phone, without 5G or extravagance. The ZTE Blade V40s is basically that, but without being so limited in things like RAM or storage that it’s unusable. Its weakest point is in the processor, which is the Unisoc T618 how popular it is becoming among the most modest mobiles and tablets (eight cores at up to 2 GHz).

The terminal has a screen 6.67-inch AMOLED with Full HD+ resolution, which is not bad at all for its price range. The screen maintains the 60 Hz of all life and includes the front camera, 8 megapixels, perforated in the center of its upper part.

The ZTE Blade V40s bets on a somewhat peculiar design for its camera module where the three lenses are distributed in two circles. The main one is from 50 megapixels with f/1.8 aperturewhile the other two (a 2-megapixel portrait sensor and a 5-megapixel macro lens) go to the second circle, next to the flash.

Being an entry-level mobile, it comes quite well loaded with memory and storage: it goes on sale with a single version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If RAM falls short, it can be increased with virtual RAM. For storage you can use a MicroSD.

The ZTE Blade V40s offer is completed with a battery that has 4,500 mAh capacity and supports 22.5W fast charging. The terminal includes the fingerprint reader on one of its sides and is put up for sale with Android 12 pre-installed.
