Creators can already count on DaVinci Resolve for iPads since December 2022 and today we have information that Final Cut Pro should also win a version for Apple tablets, as well as Logic Pro. The reports come from Twitter user @analyst941, who was once responsible for leaking the Dynamic Island of the iPhone 14 Pro before launch.
I wanted to say this last week, but I’m going to Prematurely say it right now.
Final Cut Pro is coming to iPadOS in 2024
Logic Pro is expected 2025.
I found this out the same day I found out we’re getting 2x (dual) 6K (@ 60hz) external display support on the 14.1” model https://t.co/nMqvvMpqRO

According to today’s source, Final Cut Pro for iPadOS should be released in 2024 with touch screen optimizations, as it currently only has a version for macOS. The editor should arrive with support for up to two screens at 6K resolution with all the features of the macOS version.
I’ve heard there’s a special version of iPadOS 17, being developed specifically for larger iPad Pro/Ultra/Studio model(s), there’s a slight change that would give the 14.1” model support for up to 2 6K displays at 60hz.
This signals for a definite M3 Pro SoC in the flagship iPad https://t.co/7FcOyaZFdv

The same should happen with Logic Pro, the digital audio and MIDI sequencer software that even supports Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio. Despite this, Logic Pro should arrive on iPadOS only in 2025.
It’s also mentioned that a 14.1 version of the iPad Pro is in development to work specifically with these apps, making it a true portable workstation for those who want to work with a tablet instead of a MacBook.
