At that time, the company indicated that, indeed, there could be some possibility of an application specialized in this type of music and it could arrive throughout 2022. However, and as we have already seen, the year ended without the app having been released to users.

Apple delays launch of its classical music app

Some time ago, the press release by Apple Newsroom 2021 It strongly pointed out that the classical music app would arrive from Apple Music by 2022. This app would combine the favorite features of the Primephonic service along with popular Apple tools. The main problem is that The company did not comment on what would happen to the app from that moment, so even today the situation for 2023 is not known.

After the acquisition by Apple, Primephonic stopped offering its service in September 2021. Its subscribers received six months of free use of Apple Music as compensation. In case the application allegedly named as “Apple Classical” arrives, this would be the replacement for Primephonic. The original subscribers would now be users who have the correct space for classical music in the Beethoven and Mozart style.
