Huawei Watch GT 3 SE is launched with AMOLED screen, autonomy of up to 2 weeks and lower price

Huawei took advantage of the Watch GT Cyber ​​announcement stage — its first smart watch with a detachable face — last Wednesday (02) to present the Watch GT 3 SE, a more affordable version than the Watch GT 3 Probut with features and specifications that guarantee the characteristic cost-benefit of the brand.

The smartwatch is equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass technology. Like its display, the case has a polymer fiber reinforced material construction that guarantees good impact resistance. Ensuring good grip and comfort, the handles are made of polyurethane (TPU).

Still speaking of resistance, the smart watch of the Chinese giant is capable of “surviving” under pressure of up to 5 ATM (equivalent to 50 meters of depth in the water), making the wearable ideal for athletes from swimming to canoeing. And by mentioning the audience fitnessthere is support for tracking more than 100 sports.

The Watch GT 3 SE’s sensors include a heart rate monitor, SpO2, gyroscope and satellite tracking systems — GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo and QZSS. Data is synced to any device with versions equal to or later than Android 6.0 and iOS 9, as well as any mobile phone with HMS.

With HarmonyOS, the watch is able to perform smart tasks to deliver the best experience to athletes. The TruSport Science-Based Research System, for example, analyzes training performance and provides athletes with suggestions. There is also TruSleep 3.0, which monitors the user’s sleep quality.

One of the great highlights of the Watch GT 3 SE is the 451 mAh battery that it delivers autonomy of up to 14 days in “typical” use or 7 days of “hard” use — the latter would include three hours of GPS workout tracking, screen activated for 30 continuous minutes a day, among other critical scenarios. Fully charging the battery takes less than 2 hours.

price and availability

Huawei Watch GT 3 SE is now available in Europe with suggested price of €179 (about R$890). The only color option available is black. For now, there is no forecast of release in other countries, but the Watch GT 3 and GT Runner are already available in Europe with HarmonyOS 2.1 and suggested prices from R$ 1,799.
