Xiaomi introduced a variety of new products this Tuesday (18) during the Xiaomi 13 Ultra launch event. One of the highlights is its new Smart TV with technologies that promise to bring cinema quality to users’ living rooms.
The new model is equipped with a powerful 86-inch Mini LED backlit screen with 4K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits maximum brightness. In addition to the fluidity and high resolution that promise to attract both gamers and moviegoers, the panel offers AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Dolby Vision IQ.
With Dolby Atmos, the TV’s stereo speakers feature a 3.1-channel configuration — including two speakers on each side, a center speaker and a subwoofer to optimize bass — with a total power of 70 watts.
Smart TV has a platform developed by Xiaomi itself that has a 4-core Cortex-A73 CPU and a 1-core Mali-G52 GPU, in addition to 4 GB of RAM memory and 64 GB of internal storage to store and run user applications, such as can be purchased through the official store of the MIUI TV system.
In the connectivity department, the TV is equipped with Bluetooth 5.2, three HDMI 2.1 inputs, two USB ports (including a USB 3.0 one), an AV input interface, an optical input and an Ethernet port. In addition, the TV can integrate with the user’s smart home through dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz).
With this, the model can connect to surveillance cameras, doorbells, lamps, sockets, air conditioners, air purifiers and various other smart objects from Xiaomi’s MIJIA brand or Milanity’s solutions.
Xiaomi’s 86-inch Mini LED Smart TV is now available on the brand’s official website for ¥15,999 (about R$11,599) in China. For now, there is no forecast of availability in other countries, but it is worth remembering that the manufacturer sells several of its smart home products in Europe, such as the Smart Blender.
