In a new beta update released this Wednesday, WhatsApp now allows users of the Windows version to further customize their conversations. This is because now it will be possible change wallpaper for all chats.

The improvement was distributed after the last update on the Microsoft Store (Electron version), and this frees the user from having to get used to the messenger’s default wallpaper.

See in the image below that it is possible to choose a series of colors in the application palette.

If you use the beta version and want to check if you’ve already been graced with the new feature, just open WhatsApp and go to Settings. If the customization option appears in the side menu, within it you can choose the color that best fits your personal taste.

The user can still choose whether the WhatsApp doodle will be added to the wallpaper or it will just be a neutral and “clean” color.

For now, it is not yet possible to add different wallpapers for specific chats, but WABetaInfo adds that this is the next step for WhatsApp developers.
