Well yes, at first glance it may seem that we have another clone but before you close the window, I encourage you to give the first game of Cardboard Sword and what will edit Koch Media. We are before a metroidvania in 2D with a 16-bit style in which stealth will be paramount in the adventure of Sandfox, our hero who will enter the ruins to face the threat of an evil that is spreading through the sand.
We will have a good number of skills to stay hidden as well as a good level of parkour. All this mixing the 16-bit style but with modern animations taking advantage of the use of the Unreal Engine 4 engine. A dynamism that seems to also have the music that will stay alive and evolve depending on the moment in which our hero is.
The Siege and the Sandfox promises a good adventure in which we will have to explore, make our way with new tools and meet all kinds of characters to discover the evil of the sands.
The game is planned for 2023 and, for now, only on PC.
