The renewal of the highest range of OnePlus already has a date. And the model is confirmed: the rumored OnePlus 10T will make its appearance to complete a catalog that is getting more and more numerous. We do not know advanced features, we do know the specific day and time of presentation: next August 3 at 4:00 p.m. in Spain.
From taking out one or two families of mobile phones a year to turning its catalog almost into an inspiration for Xiaomi or Realme: OnePlus is on its way to taking over all the ranges with various phones tailored to different categories; always keeping special attention on the most premium line, that is the purpose of the latest OnePlus 10 Pro. Precisely, we expected a “non-pro” version of that family, something that has not happened yet. What is certain is that in 2022 the “T” return.
OnePlus revives its strategy with the OnePlus 10T
The brand decided to renew its catalog twice each year, launching the “normal” model in the first half and the “T” model in the second. The OnePlus 8T, from 2020, was the last representative of that family since the brand preferred not to renew it during 2021. We thought that they could disappear, but this is not the case: the “T” come back.
As OnePlus confirms on its website, the OnePlus 10T is the manufacturer’s next “flagship” mobile, the most representative of its entire portfolio. This implies that said 10T will rise to the top of the catalog, even above the OnePlus 10 pro. The chosen processor, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, collaborates with this. OnePlus has confirmed it in its user community.
Qualcomm’s most powerful SoC so far in 2022 will be the one that powers the OnePlus 10T, the brand’s mobile with the highest performance also for this year (until it decides to release a OnePlus 10T Pro later, which could be). There are no more confirmed features apart from the release of OxygenOS 13 in its stable version. The OnePlus 10T will be released with this version of the layerbased on Android 13. And the OnePlus 10 Pro will be the first to update.

The photo shown by OnePlus half shows a OnePlus 10T quite similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro. Clean back (it seems that with a “sandstone” finish) and triple photographic module with a rectangular shape. It would not be strange for Hasselblad to continue signing the lawsuit, although we must wait until August 3 to know this information. Same as the rest of the specifications, of course.
