From Pixel 7a almost everything is already known, despite the launch event missing more than a few days. For Google products it is almost a tradition, that of very rich and often accurate rumors preceding the presentation. Thus the rumor machine does not stop even one step away from the “therefore”, favored – it must be said – by evidently fallacious controls by those who should keep the material from the Mountain View secret until the launch.
The press material, of course, but also the actual products, because of Pixel 7a for sale on online markets although the smartphone was far from official, we have seen some in recent days and others have recently been placed. How is it possible that someone has in their hands units complete with sales packaging, the kind that will be in stores shortly, and can easily sell them on eBay?
We don’t have any answers, but the fact that “spoilers” are a constant in the pre-launch period of Google products consolidates the suspicion that, for some reason, in Mountain View it could be fine too.
So more Pixel 7a have been sold in the past few hours, from reputable eBay sellers who in two out of three cases had more than one unit available, ready to be shipped:
- a New York user sold one for $499, the lowest price of three recent listings but still higher than what the Pixel 7a’s US price ($499) is rumored to be
- another, from Florida, from Pixel 7a placed 5 at $542 each
- a Texan salesman sold 3 at $550 each
all in Charcoal coloring.
Two out of three sellers have enriched the advertisement with “real” images, from which you can clearly see the Pixel 7a packaging perfectly intact. Big G’s new mid-range will arrive in a week, but its experience on the market seems to have already started some time ago.
