In parallel with this expansion, recent reports indicate that the Play Store would also be in the process of expanding the offer of advertisements, surpassing the hitherto displayed on the results pages to add these advertisements also in the app store search bar.

According to reports from users on social networks, the ad is displayed as a suggestion when activating the store’s search bar, with at least the identification of the label “Ads” being displayed next to the developer’s name, guaranteeing at least the opportunity for the user to knowing that that suggestion is there because it is paid and not necessarily because it is relevant to him.

It is worth remembering that, at the end of last year, rumors emerged about the potential display of advertisements in store searches, but at the time, this was not effectively identified as an advertisement as it is now.

For now, little is known about this implementation, apparently being a test with part of the user base or else, for certain regions considering that, at least here, this implementation, at least for the time being, did not happen.
