In a statement made through its official Twitter account, Xbox revealed that it will not have a booth at the Brasil Game Show 2022. The event will take place between the 6th and 12th of October, in São Paulo, at the Expo Center Norte convention center.
In a publication, the company does not reveal the reasons for the decision, but states that it has evaluated the situation “carefully” and that despite the absence, it will continue to support its partners during BGS 2022.
BGS has always been a special moment for Xbox to connect with fans in Europe. After careful consideration, Xbox will not have a booth, but will continue to support partners at BGS 2022. We are looking for ways to connect with fans and look forward to the coming months with amazing games.

Microsoft’s games division was the first major company to officially speak out about the event. With this, it is not yet known whether other giants in the gaming market, such as Nintendo and Playstation, will be present. In the Sponsors and Exhibitors area, at the time of this publication, neither of the two brands is exposed.
BGS 2022 marks the return of the event to the face-to-face format and promises to be the longest in history, taking place for six days in a row. Tickets are still available on the event’s official website.
