Yuzu quickly became known as one of the best ways to emulate the Nintendo Switch on Windows and Android and now it’s being updated again with more improvements for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The new build is build 3673 from the Yuzu early access channel, released after last week’s build 3651.

Among the new options in version 3673 it is now possible to apply anisotropic filtering to all minimaps in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Metroid Prime Remastered and other recent titles for Nintendo Switch.

Despite this, the official page does not recommend that this feature be activated in Xenoblade Chronicles, Astral Chain, NieR: Automata and Bayonetta 3, as it may cause artifacts to appear in the graphics of these titles.

Additionally, Yuzu Early Access builds 3675-3678 bring even more improvements to Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which now no longer requires the use of the Anisotropic Fix mod to function. This release also fixes the following issues:

  • Fight regression visible from a distance in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom;
  • Cloud rendering issues in Xenoblade Chronicles
  • Fire Emblem: Three Houses sky rendering bug;
  • Too many minor bugs.

It is worth mentioning that the early access builds are only available to Yuzu Patreon subscribers, but all these improvements will be added in the stable version, which is the one distributed to everyone for free.
