This Tuesday (25), the NVIDIA announced official support for DLSS 3 technology in the game return. In addition, new games with DLSS 2 are available for gamers with supported GeForce RTX series graphics cards.

According to NVIDIA’s statement, cWith support for DLSS 3, DLSS 2, Reflex and Ray Tracing, Returnal is at its best when played on a GeForce RTX GPU or notebook with graphics cards from the GeForce lineup.

Returnal was released for PC in February and with DLSS 3, game frame rates increased by 2.2x on GeForce RTX 4090, giving players 180+ FPS in the tests disclosed by NVIDIA itself in the announcement of the novelty.

On the GeForce RTX 4080, DLSS provided a similar improvement, allowing gameplay at over 140 FPS. On other GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, DLSS 3 delivers over 90 FPS at 4K, with all settings and Ray Tracing maxed out.

DLSS 2 continues to be added to many games thanks to the many tools, plug-ins and game engine integrations that NVIDIA has provided to help all developers and simplify the integration of these technologies.

Newer games that added DLSS 2 include:

  • Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 6 (available now with DLSS 2);
  • GUN JAM (available now with DLSS 2);
  • STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN (available now with DLSS 2).
