A maple announced this Thursday (20) the official launch of the Swift X 16 notebook. As the brand highlighted, the device is aimed at creators and designers, and promises to deliver fast and fluid performance for the required activities.
The new notebook comes equipped with the AMD Ryzen processor 9 7940H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card, plus dpreinstalled studio rivers, which can handle the most graphically demanding creative applications, according to Acer.
O Swift X 16 (SFX16-61G) features a 16:10 OLED display that is 100% DCI-P3 compatible and has a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The panel is 3.2K (3200×2000) and 16 inches, in addition to delivering a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a response time of less than 0.2 ms.
The product comes with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM memory, up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD internal storage, and a MicroSD slot for more space. The model also has two USB Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1 and support for Wi-Fi 6E technology.
Above the screen, the Swift X 16 has an FHD 1080p camera that uses Acer’s Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR) and its suite of AI technologies to deliver crisp, clear video. The notebook also comes with Windows 11 factory installed.
To aid the hardware, the new Creator laptop features redesigned interiors and thermal solutions for a better balance between performance and battery life. Upgraded TwinAir cooling promises to increase air intake by up to 36%.
The Acer Swift X 16 will be available in North America in July starting at US$1,250; in EMEA in June from EUR 1,566 (~R$8,676) and in China in May from 7,999 (~R$5,874). There is no information about a launch in Europe.
