Finally, in 2008, Walmart dropped the hyphen and arrived at the blue logo it touts today. The logo includes a yellow “spark,” which represents the spark of inspiration that led Sam Walton to create the first store, and each part of the spark is associated with one of the company’s values and principles, according to the company.
