13th-Gen Intel Core and GeForce RTX 40 to Launch in January for Laptops, Says Rumor

In recent months we have seen some news that points to the launch of new components for PCs based in China, something that is partly driven by the interest in reducing dependence on items with American technology and thus not being so susceptible to potential embargoes.

In addition to this focus, PC manufacturer PowerLeader officially presented this week its first processor for the consumer market, named Powerstar P3-01105 and which, according to the company, offers extremely high performance, compatibility with x86 and “storm core” architecture, therefore it can be efficient on Windows machines.

However, the presentation drew attention in particular because the Powerstar P3-01105 is considerably similar to the Intel Core i3-10105 Comet Lake processor, something that, at least for now, PowerLeader has not confirmed or denied.

Among the points that drew attention to this suspicion, we have that the physical design and substrate are very similar (as can be seen in the image below), the identical base clock (3.70GHz), the name being very similar (01105 vs 10105) and not least, the Powerstar QR-code matches Intel’s.

According to information released at the launch of Powerstar P3-01105, this processor will initially be offered embedded in a new compact PC from PowerLeader named PC PT620P, which is defined as a device with “extremely high performance, which is several times superior to that of a domestic CPU”.

Not least, the estimate by PowerLeader is that the CPU has annual sales of 1.5 million units, probably only in the domestic market.
