during event next@acer, held this Thursday morning (20), Acer presented four new gamer notebooks from its Predator line. Altogether, the new models are part of the Triton and Helios series.

They stand out for the presence of 13th generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 Series GPUs. TechSmart followed the event and tells you the details now.

Acer Predator Triton 17X

Considered by the company to be the brand’s most powerful gaming notebook to date, the Predator Triton 17 X (PTX17-71) features a minimalist design, to attract gamers and professionals who want a mobile, thin and powerful machine capable of running AAA games. .

It stands less than an inch tall, plus a sandblasted and polished texture on the solid metal CNC unibody chassis. There’s also a micro-etched RGB Predator logo, stainless steel speaker mesh, diamond-cut accents and strategically placed air vents.

In its main technical specifications, there are up to Intel Core i9-13900HX processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card. .

The Predator Triton 17 X comes with a 17-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. There are two panel configurations, one with WQXGA mini-LED (AmLED) resolution and 250 Hz rate, as well as 1000+ nits brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. There is still support for NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and NVIDIA G-SYNC technologies.

For cooling, this notebook features Vortex Flow technology with a cooling system with three fans – two of them 5th generation AeroBlade 3D. The sound system contains six DTS:X Ultra speakers. There are also connectivity Intel Killer E3100G+ Ethernet, Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1690i, Thunderbolt 4 and port for SD card reader 7.0.

Acer Predator Helios Neo 16

The Predator Helios Neo 16 (PHN16-71) seeks to combine advanced components with a more affordable price. This model also comes with laser etched encrypted codes on the abyssal black anodized cover for gamers to decipher the message. Also featured here is AeroBlade fan technology and liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU for cooling.

This equipment has versions with 13th generation Intel Core HX processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU with maximum graphics power of 140W. The memory pool contains up to 32GB of dual-channel DDR5 4800MHz RAM, plus up to a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD in RAID 0.

Here there are different screen alternatives, among which there is an IPS WQXGA (2560 x 1600) at 165 Hz and a response time of 3 ms; and a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) with a rate of 165 Hz and 100% of the sRGB color range. Both deliver NVIDAI Advanced Optimus and G-SYNC technologies.

Acer Predator Triton 14

The Predator Triton 14 has the proposal to provide a thin notebook – up to 19.9 mm thick – that can be used for both gaming and work, as the design also allows use in an office or even academic environment. Its cooling includes a custom-machined 5th generation AeroBlade 3D fan, Vortex Flow airflow optimization, and liquid metal thermal paste on the CPU.

This machine comes equipped with a 14-inch Mini LED display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and resolution up to WQXGA (2560 x 1600). The panel also features a 250Hz refresh rate, is DisplayHDR 600 certified, and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

Other configurations include an Intel Core i7-13700H processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or 4050 graphics card, up to 32 GB of RAM 6000 MHz LPDDR5 and an M.2 SSD slot. Connectivity still has Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1675i networking and a microSD card reader.

Acer Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition

To complete the launches of gamer notebooks in this line, there is the Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition. It blends the SpatialLabs eye tracking solution, stereoscopic 3D display and real-time scene rendering technologies to bring 3D scenery, objects and characters to life through the 15.6-inch display.

Inside, the Intel Core i9-13900HX processor and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GPU appear, accompanied by up to 32 GB of 5600 MHz DDR5 RAM. The rear vents still allow for RGB lighting along the edge. The set of ports comes with two USB 3.2 Gen 2, two Thunderbolt 4 and a microSD card reader.

Acer also announced that it has worked with Bethesda Softworks and Microsoft to bring the game early. redfall to all new notebooks and desktops in the Acer Predator lineup running Windows 11 with a free month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Arkane Austin’s open-world FPS game will be available on brand PCs starting May 2nd of this year.

According to Acer, pricing and availability information varies by region. So far, there is still no confirmation regarding the arrival of new products to the Europeian market.
