Huawei will soon present its new flagship smartphones on March 23: the P60 and P60 Pro. The Chinese manufacturer could also lift the veil on its next folding terminal. The P60 is eagerly awaited for its photo part, but will have a hard time convincing the European market.
Huawei has not said its last word and intends to impress its world with its new flagships, its highly anticipated P60 and P60 Pro. The Chinese manufacturer should present them at a conference which will be held on March 23.
It was through a poster published on Weibo that the brand began its teaser. We see the ocean with two waves. The first is circular and evokes a smartphone rear photo sensor. The other, on the other hand, is very reminiscent of a folding screen. We could expect the announcement of a Huawei Mate X3.
Huawei will present its P60 and has not said its last word
As we know, times are tough for Huawei when it comes to telephony. The terminals no longer have access to the Google software suite, which makes it very difficult to use them on the European market. To convince, the brand wants to focus on one asset in particular: the picture.
According to the latest rumors, the Huawei P60 should have a 52-megapixel IMX789 main sensor as well as a 50-megapixel IMX858 wide-angle in addition to the 16-megapixel telephoto lens. The Pro version, meanwhile, should feature a 50-megapixel IMX888 main sensor.

Huawei should mainly rely on photo processing with its XMAGE technology, with the help a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The phones should be equipped with an OLED panel with a definition of 3200 x 1440 pixels (with a refresh rate of 120 Hz) as well as a 5000 mAh battery.
It remains to be seen whether this will be enough to seduce European consumers. We know that in the West, the brand is in very great difficulty following the embargo imposed since 2019. A clear brake on its meteoric progress, since Huawei was then the second largest smartphone seller in the world. Today, the manufacturer represents just under 5% of market share internationally.
