You may already be familiar with the “View in 3D” tool from Google search engine. It is an augmented reality function that allows you to see animals, objects and more elements inside your house.
The latest addition to Google Search’s “3D View” is a bit more useful: allows you to preview IKEA furniture.
IKEA’s extensive catalog of products is now compatible with Google Search’s ‘View in 3D’. You’ll see this option when you search for specific IKEA products on Google, but it also appears when you use broad search terms like “IKEA chest of drawers.”
Note that the “View in 3D” button doesn’t always appear at the top of search results, so you may need to scroll down a bit.
You should keep in mind that, if you use an iPhone, you will have to use the Google app to see these 3D models inside your house.
