Samsung Galaxy A23 5G ever closer: FCC certification arrives
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is approaching: the South Korean giant’s budget smartphone was recently certified by the FCC in the United States, according to what the colleagues of MySmartPrice. As always, the concrete information that can be obtained from the documentation is not particularly rich in details on the aspects that interest us most, such as technical specifications and images, but a few small pieces more to the framework that we have already been building for some time can be added . Meanwhile, the model codes:
- SM-A236M / DS, SM-A236M / DSN, SM-A236M / N
- SM-A236B / DS, SM-A236B / DSN, SM-A236B / N
- SM-A236E / DS, SM-A236E / DSN, SM-A236E / N
These suggest that there will also be a dual-SIM variant. It also emerges that a microSD slot is provided (it is not clear if the slot is hybrid in the case of dual-SIM), and the schematic drawings indicate the presence of three rear cameras with a design similar to that seen on Galaxy S22 Ultra (with the due proportions that can be expected on the performance side, of course).
Among other details emerge Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi ac, 5,000 mAh battery and maximum charging at 25 W. Previous sightings on Geekbench indicate that the SoC is expected to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695. So far, chips aside of course, everything matches the 4G model data sheet which has been official for a few months. So the device could be configured like this:
- display: 6.6 “FHD + LCD
- processor: Snapdragon 695
- memory: 4/6 / 8GB of RAM, 64 / 128GB internal
- battery: 5.000mAh, 25W charging
- OS: One UI 4.1 with Android 12
- cameras:
- front: 8MP, f / 2.2
- rear: 50MP main (f / 1.8) + 5MP ultra wide angle (f / 2.2) + 2MP macro (f / 2.4) + 2MP depth (f / 2.4)
