It was at the end of the summer of 2020 when Meta, the parent company of Facebook and other well-known social platforms, launched Facebook Business Suite, now called Meta Business Suite, as a unique space where companies will have all the necessary tools to manage everything related to their Facebook pages and Instagram business accounts, both from desktop and mobile devices.
From its launch to date, Meta has enabled businesses to continue using Creator Studio, try out the enhanced Meta Business Suite experience, and if still not satisfied, return to Creator Studio.
But Meta has now decided to discontinue Creator Studio in favor of Meta Business Suite, which will mean that this young platform is mature enough to appeal to those businesses still using Creator Studio.
To this end, Meta is sending a statement advising companies that Creator Studio is close to closing, according to analyst Matt Navarra. on his Twitter accountAlthough Meta will offer an adaptation period so that companies can become familiar with Meta Business Suite for its final adoption.
Business Suite comes of age
Meta Business Suite has the same tools available in Creator Studio and much more, the complete list of which can be found after this link, and which according to some users, is much easier to use.
This is something many tech companies are accustomed to doing, releasing an improved platform and having the new platform co-exist with the old until the new one reaches a level of maturity enough to shut down the old one.
Businesses are on notice, so they will still have some time to migrate to Meta Business Suite if they haven’t done so all this time. It is already a matter of the stragglers getting their act together so that time does not catch up with them.
