Mac Studio Design

The Mac Studio can be found with both the M2 Max and M2 Ultra chips. In the Max version, the Studio comes with a total of 12 processing cores, eight of which are high performance, and the others are more energy efficient. In the Ultra, the most powerful processor between the two, it is possible to find 16 high-performance cores, in addition to eight aimed at energy saving and less heat dissipation.

There are also differences in GPU . The entry-level model comes with 30 graphics cores, while the top of the line offers twice as many. The same happens in the so-called Neural Engine, Apple’s hardware architecture for artificial intelligence (AI), with 16 colors of this type in the M2 Max and 32 in the Ultra. Finally, in RAM memory, there are 32 GB in the model with Max and 64 GB in the unit that comes equipped with Ultra.

As the device is able to better dissipate the heat generated during its operation, the processor can maintain higher speeds for longer, which can represent greater sustainable performance than in a MacBook Pro equipped with the same M2.
The biggest highlight of the Studio is the graphic performance of the M2 processors. A relevant differentiator of Mac Studio, especially when compared to MacBooks, is the improved support for multiple screens.
