Surely on more than one occasion you have had the idea of creating something shared on Instagram with friends or acquaintances that you have on the social network in order to have creations that are of interest to everyone in an orderly manner. But, to date, this was not possible to achieve with a specific function. This has changed, as the company owned by Meta has announced the arrival of Collaborative Collections. The power of the platform we are talking about when it comes to creating collections, which is one of its great virtues, is now at the service of users so that they offer something more than just having their own. In this way, in the new creations it is possible from reviewing what is published by all the components to adding content that they believe will be liked by all those who are there. An excellent way to be in direct contact with friends and also family. A good idea, everything must be said. An expected evolution on the part of Instagram Since 2017, when the collections function was launched on Instagram -which was equal to what Pinterest offered-, these types of options have not evolved to a great extent (beyond adding functions to make exactly the same). Now the story changes, since many are allowed to create something unique for everyone… and without restrictions on the use by those who are added to the collection we are talking about. By the way, the options offered will be complete. In this way, nothing will be missing regarding what can be uploaded by all the participants. It will even include the Explore page that has become so popular on Instagram and, of course, the ability to send direct messages to the participants. Come on, all the good things about the social network will be present. Important details of the Collaborative Collections The first thing is to know the number of participants that they can contain from the first moment, being the number of 250 users. A number that is not bad. In addition, it must be clear that, if something created from a private account is shared, these will only be able to be seen by those who have access and follow said user. Therefore, this is something that must be clear, since it can generate confusion. On the other hand, it must be said that the creation of collaborative Collections is very simple, since it can be done from direct messages -and even using the button at the bottom right of the screen of a publication- . Here you can choose where to save it and you can choose an already available collection or create a new one (you just have to put a name and activate the Allow friends section). It’s all that simple. >
