The creators of ibook are struggling to convince their employees to return to the office. The latest twist in the battle of wills between workers and employers is a new request to maintain flexibility in their work practices.
Many companies with remote work lowered their operating costs but lost the physical interaction and time control of their employees among many other things, so the Apple Together worker organization began distributing the petitions internally on Sunday, according to the Financial Times. .
The petition is said to be a response to Apple management’s Aug. 15 order to increase the number of days workers can work in the office from two to three by Sept. 5, under a work schedule. hybrid or mixed.
According to the petition, Apple Together believes the one-size-fits-all administrative directive ignores the many compelling reasons employees will be happier and more productive with the WFH’s measures. The company requires that employees be able to coordinate their work schedules with their direct supervisor, rather than being subject to high-level approvals and complex procedures.
The petition would collect signatures for a week before being reviewed and delivered to management. The staff organizing the campaign will not name the individuals publicly and will not share them with management in light of reports of union raids and recent allegations of retaliation by HR.

It is expected to be able to reach a harmonious agreement where the employees as well as the company can work comfortably and wonderfully, meeting the requirements and expectations of both, with the arrival of Covid, working life has changed enormously, and every day it is time to adapt and improve work strategies as long as it is to optimize the work environment and improve the established goals.
