Microsoft released this Friday (5) a new update that adds new static and animated images for Teams, the company’s video calling platform. This is the biggest customization novelty announced by the developer since the arrival of the original collection in 2020 as an alternative to changing the background of video calls.

According to the design team, the new backgrounds were carefully designed to represent the people who use them and how they work best. “Looking at the popularity of certain images, we’ve noticed that clients are just as enthusiastic about being portrayed in playful, imaginative scenes as they are in realistic spaces like a living space. coworkingoffice or home.”

The update adds six categories of Teams backgrounds, including some that focus on wood and light, others that have contemporary backgrounds, and some that are colorful clouds or mountains.

There are even funds designed to be affordable and address how people on the autism spectrum may be affected by standards and materials. These are part of a larger “belonging” category that also focuses on vision, hearing, mental health and more.
