ASUS ROG launched this Friday (17) a new model of gamer monitor for users looking for a device with advanced settings and modern construction. The Swift OLED PG27AQDM features on its front a 26.5-inch display with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) and a refresh rate of 240 Hz.

As stated on the product data sheet, 99% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum is supported, thereby improving the quality of images displayed on the screen together with the anti-reflective micro-texture coating reduces reflections for accurate colors. The 16:9 aspect ratio provides fewer bezels and more usable area.

The PG27AQDM model has an ultra-fast response time of just 0.3ms and other features appreciated by gamers such as high peak perceptual brightness of 1000 nits, compatibility with G-Sync and integration with the DisplayWidget Center that allows easy adjustment of OLED and monitor settings with a mouse.

This release has notable improvements over its predecessor, especially in the level of brightness that received a 17% increase. The monitor also features an improved thermal dissipation system including a custom heatsink and refined airflow design to prevent high temperatures.

“Thanks to these features and a large superior air outlet, the Swift OLED PG27AQDM is able to dissipate heat more efficiently, operating at 5% lower average temperatures compared to other 27-inch OLED gaming monitors,” highlights the ASUS.

For now, there is still no information on price and availability, however, sales are expected to start in the United States with a suggested price of US$ 999, about R$ 5,260 in direct conversion.
