This information comes from Marius Marents himself, who is the company’s commercial director and published the solution on his LinkedIn page. He also claims that the idea is to take advantage of the three microphones present in the smartwatch and the long-lasting battery to monitor the streets of the city of Oslo.
To be used in this way, the Apple Watch Ultra receives the installation of the application Scout Triangle, which is in charge of analyzing the captured audio and identifying the shots. It is worth remembering that the company has the help of police, military, government and commercial institutions.
Until the watch was launched, Triangula did the same thing with iPhones equipped with drones for the same purpose. However, the smartwatches have the advantage of smaller size and battery life, which makes it take longer before it is necessary to recharge the items.
