An Apple Watch Series 7 user got a scare with his smart watch exploding this Thursday (6). At first, there is no cause for what happened with the item and one of the highlights that draws the most attention is the support of the apple in the case. After all, it seems that they didn’t give due importance to the situation.

In videos posted on his Youtube channel, Chance Miller showed some moments of his smartwatch about to explode. Likewise, one of the footage even shows smoke coming out of the device. According to him, it all started when he felt an unusual heat from the item on his wrist.

With that, he called Apple support, who forwarded the call to a higher-level manager, who recommended that the boy avoid touching the item until he received more details from the manufacturer. Shortly before, he had already turned off the watch after a warning from the operating system that pointed to high temperatures.

The next day, the Apple Watch even had its display broken due to the heat, arriving at the moment when the user took photos and videos about the situation. Also, he threw the smartwatch out the window when it exploded. This caused Chance to go to the ER to check if he had been poisoned by lead.

On the bright side, the item doesn’t have enough of the material to cause this. As for Apple, the company took a long time to get in touch when the user tried to seek help and then presented him with some documents for signature, which indicated secrecy about the case, in addition to the collection of the item by the manufacturer for analysis in the laboratory.

He refused to do so and ended up publicizing the situation on the internet. For those who are used to seeing the Apple Watch saving lives, this event is somewhat unusual. In Europe, one of the most recent cases of device explosion occurred in Ceará, when a smartphone exploded and almost injured a 6-year-old child.
